Leyla Aslanova '07 (FLEX 2007) joined the FLEX Alumni Team at American Councils for International Education Washington DC in May 2014. Leyla is a Program Assistant in the FLEX Alumni Department, working on alumni programs across all Eurasian countries. She coordinates the FLEX Alumni Grants Program, manages the Eurasia FLEX social media platforms, writes highlights of alumni activities and monthly newsletters to all alumni of all FLEX years, which is a new initiative to engage alumni and to keep up with the American Councils news and opportunities.
Prior to joining the American Councils in DC, Leyla worked as Alumni Coordinator in the American Councils Azerbaijan office. After her experience there, she received a Master of Arts in Public Policy at the State University of NewYork at Stony Brook.
Leyla is genuinely happy and thankful to be an alumni of US exchange programs, as her biggest career achievements were the result of the skills and knowledge she gained throughout her FLEX journey.
